Upload A Photo or Image?
We use the term -photos" for both pictures for the Photo Gallery and web page graphics and images.
- Logon as the the Administrator to your site
- From the side menu, select "Photo Gallery", then "Contribute a Photo"
- Click the Browse button to select the photo or image from your hard drive to upload
- Use the navigation panel to find the file, then click Open

- The file name will appear in the File to Upload window (see above), click Upload
- The next screen provides several options for the photo
- Rotate Left or Rotate right enables you to rotate the image 90 degrees either left or right
- New Size enable you to change the dimensions of the photo (Note that digital pictures tend to very large and take a long time to down load. We recommend using 500 pixels for the photo gallery images.)
- Picture Description: Enter a description for the picture. If the image will be part of the Photo Gallery, this description is viewable with the Photo. If the image is for a web page, use a name to identify the picture.
- System Category: For images for web pages enter Website Graphics, for Photos use Event Related Photos.
- User Category: For images for web pages enter Website Graphics, for Photos enter the group name of the Photo Gallery that you want the picture to be part of (for example Competitive Team if the photo is part of the Competitive Team Gallery.
- Here is a sample of a picture ready to be uploaded:
- Click the Submit button at the bottom of the screen to Upload the photo. You will see a screen labeled Picture Stored in the Database with a summary of the document properties. The photo is now available for viewing or inserting into a web page.
- To upload another picture, click the link Upload Another Picture
Notes:
1. If this image is a web site graphic, you will need to remember the file name when you insert the image into the web page.
2. If this is for a new Photo Gallery Group (User Category), do the following to add the new Gallery Group Name to the Photo Gallery:
- From the side menu, select "System Setup", "Categories and Definitions", then "Photo Gallery Groups"
- Check the box that corresponds to the Photo Gallery Group name that you would like to have displayed
